#ASXNews Golden Deeps Ltd has received firm commitments to complete a successful, fully subscribed placement to raise $1.78 million (before costs) via the issue of 30,169,492 fully paid ordinary shares at 5.9c per share. CEO Jon Dugdale commented: “We are very pleased to have received such strong support from investors for this $1.78 million capital raising. “This new funding will allow us to carry out further drilling of key #copper-#zinc sulphide and gold targets on our Havilah Project, where we have intersected thick zones of copper and zinc sulphide mineralisation in HVD003, which indicates we’re on top of a large porphyry-sulphide system with similar characteristics to other major discoveries in the Lachlan Fold Belt. “We also plan further drill-testing to extend copper-silver sulphide zones intersected at Nosib and Khusib Springs in Namibia, as well as testing other copper and gold targets in the Lachlan Fold Belt on the new JV area.”   Read full #ASX announcement here: https://bit.ly/3zjkgY1

#ASXNews Golden Deeps Ltd has intersected significant sulphide mineralisation in three completed diamond drillholes at its Havilah Project in the Lachlan Fold Belt #Copper-#Gold Province of central NSW. Diamond drillhole HVD003, which tested the extensive Hazelbrook copper soil and rockchip (>1% Cu) anomaly, intersected patches of semi-massive copper (chalcopyrite) and zinc (sphalerite) sulphides as well as vein and disseminated sulphides across an 80m zone in the targeted Sofala Volcanics. The mineralised intersection in HVD003 included a 28m zone (from 85.8m) of more intense sulphide mineralisation which produced high-grade portable XRF readings of up to 18.5% Cu and 34.8% Zn, averaging 0.5% Cu and 0.7% Zn. CEO Jon Dugdale commented: “The intersection of sulphide mineralisation in all three initial holes at Havilah, including thick zones of copper and zinc sulphide mineralisation in HVD003, indicates we’re on top of a large porphyry-sulphide system with similar characteristics to other major copper-gold discoveries in the Lachlan Fold Belt such as Cadia-Ridgeway and the recent Boda-Kaiser discovery. “We look forward to completing the remainder of our diamond drilling program and receiving the laboratory results from the holes completed, which will be released as soon as they come to hand and are compiled.” Read full #ASX announcement here: https://bit.ly/3ARISYA #Copper #Gold #Exploration #GED

Golden Deeps Ltd CEO, Jon Dugdale, recently visited the Acros and Crown tenements (GED earning 80%) which adjoin #GED’s current projects in the Lachlan Fold Belt #Copper-#Gold Province of NSW.   The Company is immediately targeting extensions of the mineralised Sofala Volcanics, which extend onto the Acros tenement EL9114 south of GED’s Havilah targets, where drilling is in progress. Planned work includes soil and rockchip sampling and geophysical surveys (detailed gravity, magnetics & IP). This work will aim to define drilling targets for major porphyry/volcanics hosted copper-gold deposits in an area which has received limited exploration due to shallow cover.
