Landfills present unique opportunities for ecological rehabilitation, serving as high-value after use options that promote habitat creation and enhance ecological connectivity. This Friday Richard Campbell will join Ruby Michael, Senior Lecturer at Griffith University and Founder of Green Infrastructure Research Labs (GIRLS) and Vishal Rajendraprasad Chulliparambil, PhD candidate in Ecological Rehabilitation of Landfill using Phytocapping at Green Infrastructure Research Labs (GIRLS). This Webinar will delve into current practices, opportunities, and challenges associated with the ecological rehabilitation of landfills, informed by surveys conducted in Queensland.
