We’re thrilled to announce James H. as Harvest's new Chief Investment Officer. James brings a wealth of experience from his most recent role as Managing Director at Palisade Investment Partners and, prior to that, at Macquarie Group. His expertise spans the acquisition, management, and divestment of assets across various sectors, including infrastructure, renewable energy, property, gaming, technology, and industrials. With a strong background in funds management and investment banking, along with over 20 years of investment experience, James will play a key role in driving Harvest's growth initiatives as we continue to expand our pub portfolio and explore new strategies.

It was a pleasure to host Sally Stanton from #SydneyWeekender at The Woy Woy Hotel. Established in 1897, the Central Coast's oldest pub has been reinvented for all to enjoy - from the fit out to the food! The transformation was led by our Chief Development Officer, Fraser Haughton, while our Executive Chef, Michael Munro, curated a menu that puts a modern Aussie spin on pub classics, highlighting the best of fresh coastal produce. In 2024, we focused on strengthening our portfolio by undertaking a series of capital improvements. Our latest project was the renovation of The Milestone Hotel, a heritage-listed, quintessential corner pub in Dubbo – marking our fifth redevelopment of the year. Tools are down, beers are cold, and the doors are re-open at The Aussie Inn following the completion of a major capital works project! Curated by Harvest Co-founder and CDO Fraser Haughton, the redevelopment was designed with the community front of mind. “We’ve increased the pub’s capacity by more than 40% and customised areas and offerings for local families, tradies, community groups, retirees, and travellers to enjoy the pub simultaneously." Celebrating the recent win of some accolades in Adelaide! The Brahma Lodge Hotel was awarded Best Metropolitan Gaming Room at the AHA|SA Awards for Excellence, and The Aussie Inn has received IBA’s SA Retail Manager of The Year award. This week, our CEO Chris Cornforth attended the Core Property Research's Annual Property Funds Industry Forum in Queenstown. He had the opportunity to present pubs as a compelling alternative investment, discussing the sector, assets, and value an operator can add, while gaining insight from other presenters on factors influencing the property sector.
