The #HRIA has AGMs coming up for each of the State Committees. The AGM is the meeting that we confirm office bearers including State President as well as members of the committees (plus celebrate the year and catch up with old and new industry friends!). The #HRIA require volunteers from within the industry to support and guide the National Office to ensure that our strategic objectives are met. We hear time and time again from members that by giving back to the industry, they get so much more in return. If you are interested in joining our state committees we would love to have more members involved. We promise it doesn't take up much time, and it will give you the chance to broaden your network as well as provide direct input and feedback to the National Office. Please keep an eye out for the invitations to your State AGM (as well as National AGMs which will take place next month) and the nomination form for the committee - you are more than welcome to nominate yourself. If you have any questions, want to find out more, or miss the nomination forms, contact the National Office. The equipment rental industry continues to grow, with projections suggesting it will be worth $10.5 billion by 2028/29. This growth is anticipated to be fuelled in 2024 by increased apartment and non-residential building construction, a recovery in house construction, and robust DIY markets. For professional builders and construction industry experts, the decision to hire equipment rather than purchase it outright offers numerous economic, environmental, and safety benefits. Check out are article in the National Builders Guide "Why hiring equipment is the new buying" and see why hiring equipment is a smart choice for your business. https://lnkd.in/gyKQ84J2 James Oxenham Jeremy Shaw Tony Symons Mark Burton Emmanuel Georgoudis Troy Moulder Ashley Woodcock Ben Quirk Craig Palmer Erin Johnston Martin Sinclair Sarah Webb Nicolas Chiew Sally Cannon
