Here's why your brand should never underestimate the importance of organic social❗ I’ve been in the mindset of buying a vintage camera for a while. I was repeatedly targeted by a brand on Instagram who were clearly crushing it when it came to their paid ad strategy, i’ll admit my interest was piqued. So here's what I did next... I went to their organic Instagram channel to learn more about them as a brand, ask questions, and research the product. Here’s what I found: 👉 Nothing had been posted on the account since 2023 👉 Very little educational content 👉No visible community management strategy, my DM’s went unanswered 👉No responses to comments on the posts from potential buyers asking for more product information But I'm still in the market for a vintage camera, so where do I go next? I go straight to their main competitors Instagram...35mm Co Then I found 35mm Co were crushing their social media presence with FAQ tutorials, trend content, relationship building and product education through excellent community management.... So I bought their camera instead. 💡 The point? You might be killing your paid ad strategy, but don’t underestimate the role organic social plays in your customers research journey. Channels like Instagram and TikTok are fundamental in enabling users to learn about your product quickly. And remember, customers are entering the marketing funnel at many different stages. 🔺 Optimise your organic social to make the research process easier for your customer, or you might risk losing them to a competitor.
