In collaboration with Steber International and the University of Newcastle, this 43-foot hybrid boat represents a leap forward in sustainable marine propulsion. Engineered with a versatile hybrid system, it can seamlessly switch to battery mode for quiet, emission-free cruising—a game-changer for Police, Defence, Rescue, dredges, ferries, and a breadth of other adaptable maritime applications. India Export Opportunities in METS & Energy Sectors. This week, we welcomed Geeta Patra, Austrade India Business Development Manager, who presented on the growing export opportunities in India’s METS (Mining Equipment, Technology & Services) and energy sectors. The session covered India’s increasing demand for Australian expertise in areas like geomining consultancy, mining IT, safety technologies, and renewable energy solutions. With over 40 Australian METS suppliers already in India, the potential for collaboration and growth is tremendous. A big thank you to all who attended! Additionally, Industry Advisor Peter Morrissey guided Greeta in visiting HunterNet members, including Allegro Energy, the winners of the Outstanding Start-Up Award at this year’s Hunter Manufacturing Awards Inc., and MGA Thermal, a revolutionary clean energy company pioneering a breakthrough form of energy storage. Thanks to your generosity, families with a seriously ill or injured child will have access to 2094 nights of accommodation at our Ronald McDonald Houses 🏡 – keeping them together and close to the medical care they need 💛. From novice community riders to our peloton of pros, our cyclists gave it their all, using their pedal power to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern NSW 🚵♀️ – we’re incredibly proud. Last week we participated in the Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern NSW (RMHC Northern NSW) Meals from the Heart program, with eight of us from across various divisions of the ATB Morton Group arriving at the Newcastle House, groceries in hand, ready to cook up a storm and present the families with dinner for the night. It was a heartwarming and humbling experience, met with immense gratefulness from the families living away from home while their children receive life saving treatment at the John Hunter Hospital. Our team would highly recommend the Meals from the Heart program to other local businesses looking to make a difference and we look forward to returning to the kitchen to cook breakfast early in the new year. #community #heartwarming #humbled #teamwork #rmh #mealsfromtheheart
