🌟 PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT 🌟 Mechanical face seals, commonly known as Duo Cones, are heavy duty seals engineered for rotating applications in extreme environments. They are built to withstand significant wear and effectively prevent ingress of external media. Available in both PADO and PADF profiles, each type consists of two metal components centered in their housing by an elastomeric ring. One side of the seal remains stationary in the housing while the other side rotates.

In exciting news for our Sydney Clients, our Sydney branch will be relocating to a larger and easier accessed facility! Effective from the 4th of November, our Sydney premise will be trading from the new address, 5/453-455 Victoria Street, Wetherill Park. This new facility not only offers easier, improved access and parking for our clients, it also allows HSA to further increase our service capabilities. This includes an increase in the range of products we carry, increase in quantity of stock held and provides HSA with the infrastructure to introduce larger custom seal machines into our operations.

🌟 PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT 🌟 Hydraulic Seals Australia's PGR-XSL is a double acting piston design for use in hydraulic applications. Utilizing Alpana's MAX XSL that offers superior mechanical and physical properties that include excellent extrusion resistance, high wear resistance coupled with special polymeric lubricants that ensure superior sliding properties and the elimination of stick slip making this material especially suited for energized composite seals. Interchanging the NBR energizer with HNBR allows for operating temperatures up to 150°C.

Introducing the Hydrowype A Series, type WC wiper scraper from MFP's GadJets division. Designed for unparalleled wiping and scraping performance. Incorporated within the Zinc phosphate coated metal cage is a copper alloy scraper and a secondary wiper made in MFP's U2151 material. Working in tandem, the copper alloy scraper removes aggressive contaminants from the rod, such as abrasives, slurries, ice, dust and materials that form a strong adhesive bond to the surface of the rod. The secondary U2151 wiping lip catches and wipes away any additional excess and finer particles before they enter the cylinder and cause damage to the internal sealing arrangement or housing. For over 10 years HSA have been partnered with Martin Fluid Power (MFP Seals) as their exclusive authorised distributor in Australia. Recently, our Victorian and Brisbane Operations Managers, Justin Webster and Kevin Braddock spent a week in America with MFP for training and market discussions. They toured not only the MFP Seals manufacturing and shipping facilities in Michigan, but also Gadjets, in Franklin, Ohio, where MFP manufacture Metallic Rod Scrapers.
