Kristen McMahon and Andrew Hutton joined by our CS-VUE partner Wayne Fisher had the privilege of participating in meaningful discussions around #innovation and the important role the quarry sector plays in our national economy. It’s crucial that as a sector they advocate more for the positive community and social outcomes that they bring, as everything produced stays within Australia, contributing directly to local infrastructure projects that benefit us all. Unlike many industries, they don’t export overseas—our resources are used to build and strengthen our communities. Let’s continue pushing forward to highlight this value, while embracing future opportunities for improvement, community engagement and sustainability. #IQAConference2024 #Quarrying #CommunityImpact #Sustainability #Innovation #NationalEconomy #IQAConference2024 #Quarrying #CommunityImpact #Sustainability #Innovation #NationalEconomy #ExtractiveIndustry #Infrastructure #LocalProjects #SocialOutcome

Here are the #Top10 Takeaways from the presentation I am giving at the The Institute of Quarrying Australia (IQA) national conference in Adelaide next week. My paper is titled “Navigating Compliance in the Quarry Sector: Leveraging Technology for Legal, Operational, and Sustainable Success”: 1️⃣ Increasing Complexity of Compliance: Regulatory requirements in the quarry sector are growing more complex, necessitating tailored approaches rather than one-size-fits-all solutions. 2️⃣ Cloud-Based Compliance Solutions: Tools like CSVue and IMERCS streamline compliance management through real-time monitoring, data collection, and reporting. 3️⃣ Proactive Risk Management: Systems like CSVue can automatically flag non-compliance risks before they become significant, helping to avoid operational disruptions. 4️⃣ Integration of Sustainability: Compliance is now closely tied to sustainability efforts, requiring quarries to adopt environmentally sound practices in areas like rehabilitation and carbon footprint reduction. 5️⃣ Enhanced Community Engagement: Using platforms like IMERCS to share transparent updates on rehabilitation and operational environmental performance can build trust with local communities and reduce opposition. 6️⃣ Leveraging AI and Machine Learning: The future of compliance will involve AI and machine learning to predict risks, optimise operations, and enhance mitigation measures. 7️⃣ Operational Efficiency: Digital compliance platforms not only help meet regulatory requirements but also provide valuable operational insights to improve productivity 8️⃣ Strategic Advantage: Turning compliance from a burden into a strategic advantage by investing in technology that ensures both legal adherence and operational excellence. 9️⃣ Continuous Improvement Culture: Compliance is not just about meeting regulations; it requires cultivating a culture of ongoing improvement. 🔟 Long-Term Business Viability: Embracing technology-driven compliance solutions ensures quarries can remain competitive, efficient, and sustainable for the long term. #ComplianceManagement #QuarrySector #Sustainability #CloudSolutions #CSVue #IMERCS #TechForGood #EnvironmentalCompliance #OperationalExcellence #AIinMining #CommunityEngagement #RegulatoryCompliance #MiningInnovation #SustainableMining #DigitalTransformation #MiningTech

Super exciting to see the team working in #queensland supporting our key clients on key environmental projects.
It was great to spend a few days with David Price out Moranbah way looking at environmental compliance for one of the mines. 4 flights, thousands of kms travelled and too much food eaten in the mess camp.
