MEET THE TEAM | With 26 years in the hotel industry, Gary Roberts has seen it all! His journey began when he did contract work for a friend who was a chief engineer at a large city hotel, this sparked his passion for hospitality. Starting as a shift engineer at the old Southern Cross Hotel, Gary is now the Chief Engineer at InterContinental Sydney Double Bay. He thrives on the ever-changing challenges, where no two days are the same, and enjoys the hotel's unique location, combining city convenience with a suburban feel. An iconic hotel with lots of history.
