Our team is in full swing in Sydney for our valued client CB&I. Our fleet of specialised equipment including our FasterBlaster by RBW Enterprises, Inc. automated blast equipment is making light work of the internals of the tanks. We have attached a monorail beam to the roof rafters of the tank which enables the Faster Blaster to be winched up, down and sideways from a single remote control. Production rates of up to 300m2 per day make this technique very efficient. It is also a safe and clean solution as it does not generate any dust and allows other works to occur inside the tank at the same time. Utilising Dehumidication equipment with acoustic covers allows us to hold the blast for several days before the need to apply primer.
