Edwin Higginson travelled to Casino in the NSW Northern Rivers this week for our Fleet Training Day! Great to be back and see everyone in the region again after several years. IPWEA was invited to speak at the Australian Trucking Association’s Technology and Maintenance Conference (TMC) in Melbourne this week. Our workshop safety and efficiency expert, and current facilitator of the Fleet Management Certificate, Edwin Higginson explored how to make truck workshops safe with discussions on the workshop environment and housekeeping; how to make common workshop risk areas safe; and how to manage high risk tasks.   He was using the IPWEA Plant and Vehicle Maintenance Safe Practice Guide as a reference - https://lnkd.in/di9GZKTV

Rounding off a busy week for our Fleet team, Anne-Maree Coyne hosted our Chain of Responsibility workshops tailored for local government executives and managers in Sydney and Brisbane!
