Join our dynamic team at Jennmar Australia as a Mine Service Representative (coal) in Emerald, QLD! The successful applicant must have adequate experience in the underground coal mining industry with exposure to ground support activities. Preference will be given to those applicants with experience working in a development panel crew. Jennmar will provide the detailed product training and assistance with formal courses/ certificates as required. Such qualifications as certificate IV workplace trainer/assessor or competency certificates in coal would be of benefit in your application, however, not a pre-requisite. Applicants must be self motivated, looking to contribute to the improved safety & efficiency of ground support practices and work unsupervised. A mining industry competitive 40 hour per week remuneration package, along with a company car, will be offered to the successful applicant. Home office kit out will be provided. Quality Control Assistant (Load Checker) SMEATON GRANGE The position’s primary responsibilities are: • Responsible for ensuring that all product that is loaded as part of the logistics function has met all Quality Control requirements. • Ensure that the product is matching the load sheet with regards the product code. • Report on non-conformance of loads prior to allowing the material to be dispatched from Jennmar facilities. • May be utilized to assist in additional Quality Control Functions. The successful applicant must have basic literacy and numeracy competence. They will be required to populate weekly QC Reports.
