Kiama Council Marches Forward for International Women’s Day 💜 With 20 amazing representatives of our staff in attendance, Kiama Council was proud to be a bronze sponsor of the International Women’s Day Illawarra Luncheon held yesterday at WIN Entertainment Centre. Keynote speaker Rosie Batty AO shared her powerful story of resilience, reminding us why this year’s theme, March Forward for ALL Women and Girls, is a call to action. At Kiama Council, we’re proud to lead by example, with women driving change at every level. Women make up 55% of our elected Councillors, 64% of our management team, and 44% of our coordinators are female, all under the leadership of our female CEO. Together, let’s March Forward toward a more equitable future. ✨ #IWD2025 #IWDIllawarra #MarchForward #WomenInLeadership #KiamaCouncil #InternationalWomensDay
