Originally established in 1969 in Paddington, Sydney, the leafy streets and quirky terrace store fronts were an ideal fit for Kidstuff’s community values and boutique toys. Celebrating world NF Awareness Day over the weekend! 💚💙 The Children's Tumour Foundation Neurofibromatosis (NF) refers to a group of complex genetic conditions that cause tumors to form on nerves, under the skin and deep in the body, including the brain and the spine. As a condition of the central nervous system, NF can lead to a range of significant health issues including blindness, deafness, bone abnormalities, disfigurements, chronic pain, scoliosis, and cancer. NF tumours should never be a child’s normal. Every 3 days a child is born with NF in Australia, and they will need a lifetime of support. It remains one of the most prevelant genetic conditions you have probably never heard of.
