Have you ever observed a satellite passing overhead in the night sky and wondered which satellite it might be? This question, and the ability to reliably answer it, forms the basis of orbit determination work and represents a critical component of the work satellite operators and owners need to undertake to ensure the longevity and effectiveness of their satellites. Could these kiwis be the greatest America’s Cup team of all time? With a 7-2 victory in #Barcelona, Emirates Team New Zealand has become the first continuous team to win the America’s Cup three times in a row!!! 🏆🏆🏆 It can be hard to compare different eras, but these numbers don’t lie and at LEAP we are incredibly happy for our colleagues at ETNZ to lay claim to being the greatest America's Cup team of all time! This team really is the complete package – an incredibly well sailed, well-oiled, and tight knit group, with an unsurpassed design and engineering support team to match. Despite some close racing across different sailing conditions, ETNZ could not be denied and this mix of skill, nous and boat speed were shown to be an unbeatable combination. Congratulations to everyone who has been involved with Emirates Team New Zealand during this history-making era. Amidst a sense of elation around the dockside, Skipper Peter Burling reflected that "the America's Cup has got to be one of the hardest sporting trophies in the world to win. You’ve got to have so many parts come together to make it all work and now having done that three times in a row, it’s incredibly special.” Now, inevitably, discussion in New Zealand will turn to where the next #AmericasCup will be held… What do you think Kiwi fans, should it return to Auckland or forge new horizons in Europe or the Middle East (as has been speculated)?
