Yesterday, #RSLQueensland and Legacy Brisbane hosted its latest Queensland ESO Forum connecting veteran support organisations from across the sector. The ESO Forums focus on the sector coming together to collaborate and yesterday's was no different. Participants heard updates around Advocacy, health and wellbeing initiatives, and how we as a sector can work with government agencies. Conversations throughout the day highlighted that the industry and ESOs stand ready to action and implement the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide. We look forward to coming together in May next year for our first Forum of 2025.

Back with yet another Backyard Assist!🏡 Massive thank you to the team at Apollo for joining us to help Sylvia last friday! We are immensely grateful for your effort. See you next time😁
Last Friday, we were proud to take part in Legacy Brisbane’s Backyard Assist program. Alongside the Legacy Brisbane crew, we transformed an overgrown backyard into a safe and welcoming space for a Legacy widow in need. Sylvia, a widow who loves her garden, had been finding it tough to keep her yard manageable. So we rolled up our sleeves for a day of weeding, trimming and mowing to help her enjoy her outdoor space once again. Thanks to everyone involved, and special thanks to Cheapa Skips for generously donating a skip bin to make this possible! #legacybrisbane #BackyardAssist
