On Friday, 7 March, Mack Valves attended the Women's Defence Connection's 2025 International Women's Day lunch in Melbourne. Mack shared a table with Hargo Engineering and Catten Industries Pty Ltd, enjoyed a two-course lunch, and listened to guest speakers Alison Whittaker, Head of Supply Chain, Defence Delivery and Brigadier Michelle Campbell, Senior Army Reserve Officer and Director General Workforce Integration for the Australian Army. MEET THE TEAM: Jack, Valve Tester at Mack Australia.   Jack is relatively new to the valve industry, but his experience across other sectors, particularly the water industry, makes him the perfect lead for our testing team. Q: What is your role here at Mack?  A: I am a tester.    Q: And how long have you been with Mack?  A: I’ve been here for eight months.    Q: Describe three things you do in your role here at Mack.  A: I high-pressure and low-pressure test valves, set pressures, and test the valve's porosity.   Q: What aspects of your role do you find most fulfilling?  A: I enjoy working with the large water valves because I was previously a plumber!    At Mack, it's not just our products with a quality guarantee.
