Magmatic Resources (ASX:MAG) today release further strong rock chip results the Black Ridge prospect at its 100%-owned Parkes Project. The company previously defined a six-kilometre copper trend at Black Ridge, with new results including up to 7.5% Cu from shallow historic workings in the central-southern portion of the prospect. The company also released the preliminary results from a 23 line-km IP survey, highlighting multiple moderate-strong chargeability features broadly aligned with the geology and geochemical anomalism. Recent strong rock chip results from the prospect include up to 6.5% Cu, with multiple other strong results spread along the six-kilometre trend. Further mapping and sampling are currently underway, with a 23 line-km induced polarisation (IP) survey set to commence this week. Magmatic Resources (ASX:MAG) today that recent reconnaissance mapping and sampling at the Black Ridge prospect had defined a six-kilometre copper trend. The prospect is located 15 kilometres southeast of the Northparkes copper mine on the Company's 100%-owned Parkes project. Recent rock chip sampling returned grades up to 6.5% Cu, with the trend almost entirely untested by drilling. Commenting on the latest work at Black Ridge, Managing Director Adam McKinnon said "I am very pleased to see on-ground exploration work recommencing at our 100%-owned Parkes Project. The Black Ridge prospect is one of the many targets at Parkes that has the potential to develop into a major new discovery. Located only 15 kilometres southeast of the Northparkes Mine, in rocks that are clearly fertile, I’m actually a little surprised how under-explored the region has been. Black Ridge combines kilometre-scale copper-in-soil anomalism, fantastic results from recent rock chip sampling and historic workings with outcropping mineralisation. Magmatic Resources (ASX:MAG) today released strong gold and copper results from a 64-hole air core drilling program at the Lady Ilse prospect, part of the Company's 100%-owned Wellington North project. Encouraging mineralisation was intersected in multiple shallow holes including 6m at 0.80g/t Au & 0.15% Cu in 24WNAC0820. The latest results have extended gold and copper anomalism at Lady Ilse to over 1,200m in length, with the trend completely open to the north. Magmatic Resources (ASX:MAG) Ltd managing director Dr Adam McKinnon joins Proactive’s Jonathan Jackson to provide an update on the company’s exploration activities in the East Lachlan region of New South Wales. Following the Myall Project Farm-in and Joint Venture Agreement with Fortescue, Magmatic has intensified exploration at its Wellington North and Parkes projects. Planned activities for the second half of 2024 include mapping, soil and rock chip sampling, geophysical surveys, and both RC and diamond drilling. At the Wellington North Project, 232 soil samples from the Boda Southwest prospect have shown promising copper-gold anomalies near Alkane Resources’ Boda 4 Prospect. The sampling included up to 0.92 g/t #gold, with further sampling planned to confirm potential drill targets.
