The best part of my role is spending time in our retailers talking to consumers and seeking their feedback on our products. Today we’re in Cooroy giving samples out of our amazing yoghurt range and so far we couldn’t be happier with the positive response from young and old consumers. Maleny Dairies is very excited to share that we have been awarded three separate 'Champion' Awards at the recent 2024 Dairy Industry Association of Australia (DIAA) Queensland Product Competition. Overall, we were awarded with three champion awards and seven medals, including two Gold and five Silver. MALENY DAIRIES employee Nicole Dray makes a career out of eliminating hazards, and it is this eye for dispelling trouble she has taken overseas to British Columbia, Canada. Nicole, Maleny Dairies' Training, Workplace Health and Safety and Human Resources Advisor, has been deployed to the British Columbia province in Canada to support firefighting operations. It is a nod to Nicole's dedication as a volunteer firefighter, having been bravely involved since 2019 combating numerous fires, including the 2019 Black Summer Fires. Her commitment has also involved a recent deployment to Cairns in 2023. The good news has earned the praise of Maleny Dairies Chief People & Safety Officer Jason Wales. "I am thrilled to announce Nicole has been selected for deployment to Canada to support the firefighting operations!" he said. "Nicole has been a dedicated firefighter... and beyond her frontline efforts, she has also been an inspiring mentor in the Girls on Fire Program, encouraging young women to pursue careers in firefighting." Jason said Nicole was an embodiment of Maleny Dairies' passion for supporting community activities and volunteers. "At Maleny Dairies, we encourage all our staff to participate in and support community activities or volunteer where possible," he said. "We have a long history of supporting the local community and will continue to provide support where we can. Launching next week in selected independent stores, the revamped range showcases a new design, new sizing options, and introduces a brand new flavour - Sweetened Greek Style. Our 1.9kg tubs continue alongside new 750g and 170g tubs, with the smaller size being perfect for lunchboxes, making it convenient to savor your favorite flavor at school or work.
