The Royal Flying Doctor Service (WA) exterior decal installed in just 42 seconds! (If only it took that long in real life!) The actual job took over 4 hours for just the exterior alone, with our installation team carefully matching each pattern at every panel joint. And here’s the best part, it’s a one-way vision sticker! From the inside, you can see right through the glass as if the decal isn’t there, allowing plenty of natural light to flow into the office. Watch closely, can you spot the moment when Kevin came down to check out the progress mid-install? Catch him and let us know if you spotted him! #SuppliedNationCertified #OfficeSignage #DecalInstallation #BrandedMerchandise #AboriginalArt

We’re very stoked to share our latest project with the Royal Flying Doctor Service (WA). Their building entrance and a few other spots have been transformed with Kevin Bynder's art, bringing a Noongar story into their spaces. This has been a meaningful project for us, and we’re grateful to RFDS WA for trusting Mardaa to bring this vision to life. Flick through the images to see the before and after transformation! (keep an eye out for a timelapse video soon) We can't wait to see where this project heads next! In Kevin’s own words, here’s the story behind his artwork, as captured in the certificate that accompanies the piece: ‘The very top of the art shows the waterholes and flowing river of the Dyarlgarro Beelier ( Canning River), this connects up to the founder of RFDS and his 1st staff Reverend John Flynn. Below that the white (mardaa) ochre can be seen. The ochre is used markings on the body for war, dance and lore. The ochre is also used to paint on bark, rock and other areas. The 5 blue circles represent the RFDS values: Honesty, Integrity, Respect, accountability and Patient care. These circles are connected to 3 large red circles, these circles represent RFDS guiding values: Dedication, Integrity and Innovation. These 5 circles also represent the 5 bases in WA. The blue dots in which the circles sit on is the Swan River (Derbal Yirragan). The river was created by the Rainbow Serpent (Waagyl) during the dreamtime. Not only did the Waagyl create the rivers, she also created the waterholes, hills and the entire landscape, she also gave the land its colours. The 5 larges circles are the 5 planes which are used to fly for certain services. The area Jandakot is a meeting place where several tribes would meet, the U shapes in the artwork represents this. The arrow shapes are the Yonga Bidi- Kangaroo tracks, around that area kangaroos would be plentiful as they graze on the plains. The bottom shows the Darling Range (Katta Morda). This is the body of the Rainbow Serpent( Waagyl), once she has created the land she lies dormant between 4 tribes. The very bottom is our land( Boodja)’ Artist:Kevin Bynder Tribes: Whadjuk – Yuet Noongar/Widi Badimia-Amangu Yamatji #SupplyNationCertified #AboriginalArt #NoognarStories #BrandedMerchandise #OfficeSignage

What a night! It was an honour to be part of Foodbank WA's 30th Anniversary event, where the community gathered to celebrate three decades of support and giving. Our own Kevin Bynder was invited to design a piece of artwork reflecting Foodbank’s journey and impact. Kevin was there on the night to share the story behind his painting, which was also featured on thank-you cards and RPET tote bags, gifted to volunteers and sponsors as a token of appreciation. The celebration, held at the Perth Airport warehouse, began with a warm Welcome to Country by Jayden Boundry and a traditional dance by Ngalak Nidja. Guests enjoyed a delicious spread, with special highlights from another First Nations business All Good Grub, who served up Lemon Myrtle Skewers and Brie & Quandong Puffs. Thank you, Foodbank WA, for letting us be part of this celebration of community and giving. Here’s to many more years of making a difference together!

Throwback to when we had an incredible time partnering with RugbyWA Community and Kalamunda Districts Rugby Union Club. We were proud to bring a NAIDOC-themed event to life. From hosting the VIP area for Mardaa’s, Rugby WA’s, and Kalamunda’s special guests, to sponsoring the Kids Zone with Indigenous-themed lolly bags, the day was packed with culture, community, and connection. Guests in the "Bull Pen" were treated to delicious bush-inspired cuisine from All Good Grub Bushtukka Catering including Sausage Roos, Warrigal & Ricotta Scrolls, Brie & Quondong Puffs, Kangaroo Sliders, Croc Sliders, Lemon Myrtle Chicken Skewers, Bush Tucker Baguettes & Bush Tucker savoury damper boards! 🌿🍽️ Before the Premiership final, our CEO Kevin Bynder gave a heartfelt Welcome to Country, followed by a traditional smoking ceremony and a breathtaking dance performance by NGALAK NIDJA, setting the tone for an unforgettable event. A massive thank you to RugbyWA & Kalamunda Rugby for allowing us to showcase and celebrate Aboriginal culture at such a thrilling event. On Day Six of Indigenous Business Month, we meet Brooke O'Donnell, Director of MARDAA, a majority Aboriginal owned, full-service branded merchandise business. Brooke was inspired to start MARDAA with her business partner Kevin Bynder who shares her deep desire to provide services that honor their culture and heritage. Through consulting and artwork design, they weave the rich tapestry of their cultural identity into every project, connecting deeply with the land and traditions that have shaped who they are. What they do is more than just business; it's about storytelling through design and sharing their connection to Country with the world. Balancing a full-time career while building a business that demands their presence has been one of the toughest challenges Brooke has faced. Adding to that, both Kevin and Brooke have faced personal and family health issues that required them to step in for each other. This has meant additional pressure on both their families and friends, taking precious time away from them. However, their resilience and the strength of their partnership have helped them navigate these challenges, leaning on each other and their communities when times were tough. A pivotal moment came when they expanded their offerings by introducing MARDAA home and office furnishings. This new direction allows them to blend cultural storytelling into spaces through beautifully crafted furniture and decor. From office chairs to splashbacks, they infuse design with meaning, going beyond traditional branding to create something that resonates on a deeper, cultural level. This has not only broadened their business but added a new dimension to how they connect with clients through their heritage. Their growth has been fueled by the strong support of their local networks and the wider community. Those initial opportunities came from people who believed in them and embraced their vision. From there, they expanded into new territories, collaborating with organisations across the State. The most exciting part has been the relationships they’ve built with new partners, many of whom they’d never met before. These partnerships, born out of trust and shared goals, have been the backbone of their success and continued growth. Their experienced sales team, with over 60 years of collective knowledge, positions them to do something truly special. They aim to pass down these vital skills to the next generation, empowering young Indigenous entrepreneurs to thrive in the sales and merchandising world. We’ll be exhibiting at the Supply Nation Connect! It’s time to come together and yarn about business, share knowledge, and celebrate our culture. We'll be there on Wednesday and Thursday, 28 and 29 August, at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on the lands of the Turrbal and Jagera peoples in Meanjin. This year’s theme is ‘Legacy’. We’re honouring our Elders and those who came before us. Let’s keep building a strong future for our people. Can’t wait to see you there! #SupplyNation #BrisbaneConnect #IndigenousBusiness
