Last week Maxxia came together to celebrate National Reconciliation Week with Reconciliation Australia. Our people took part in a range of activities, including art workshops with Indigenous artists LaToya Kennedy and Samantha Richards. We also went on a cultural heritage walk and heard from guest speaker Eva Jo Edwards - a Mutti Mutti, Boonwurrung and Yorta Yorta woman and survivor of the Stolen Generations. To honour the day, we asked our CEO Kylie Chambers her best advice for aspiring young female leaders. “My advice to young women who want to be business leaders would be to embrace your unique perspective. A diversity of perspective can not only lead to innovative solutions, but most certainly leads to better business decisions.
