Very well attended SMEDG talk last night in Sydney by Kate Hine, illustrating multiple use cases for #geophysics in near-mine scenarios for #Sn and #Au, especially where #pyrrhotite is a prominent sulphide in the mineralising system. Kate discussed the use of DHEM at the historic Cassilis Au mine in the rugged eastern highlands of Victoria to discover new rich (>20 g/t) Au lodes hundreds of metres underground, and at the historic, but still operating, high grade Renison Bell Sn mine in the wilderness of western Tasmania, where new ore lenses continue to be uncovered in the depths of the mine using geophysics. Contact us if you want to know more about our #success_stories, or would like to know how we can help you create value using #geophysics.
