Today is World Mental Health Day. 💚🎗 To recognize the importance of mental health and taking time for ourselves, our entire MKTG team will be stepping away from our desks on Thursday, October 10th. Despite the busyness of this time of year, we prioritize our team's well-being to dedicate time to nurturing our individual well-being through engaging in meaningful connections and self-care activities. We'll be back online on Friday, October 11th. #wmhd2024

Last month, Martin Ansell, our Strategy & Insights Director, travelled to the US to take part in a study tour in our New York City & Connecticut offices. As part of this trip, he spent time with MKTG and dentsu Sports Analytics teams to immerse in their work, client projects and approach to sports and entertainment strategy. He also managed to make it along to the NFL 🏈 , baseball ⚾ and US Open 🎾 where many of our clients were activating. What an experience!

I am incredibly proud to have played a small part in leading the stellar MKTG Sports + Entertainment Australia MCG Connected Stadiums team, who delivered a fantastic Grand Final day at the Melbourne Cricket Ground this past weekend. Some of the team members I had the privilege of supporting came through the MKTG graduate program and it's been lovely to work with a talented group of upcoming professionals in the industry whose positivity, energy (I lost count of how many stairs we climbed and laps made of the stadium), and tenacity has been inspiring. I'm super grateful for the incredible work we've achieved together! #connectedstadiums #technology #iptv #gradprogram #futuretalent #sport #sportspres #events #afl #mktg #freelancer #mcg

After the success of last year, MKTG will once again be taking part in the 2024 Melbourne Marathon. 👟 This year we have a total of 26 staff registered, running variously in the 5km, 10km, half and full marathons. Off the back of 2023, we have decided to continue our partnership and will be supporting a not-for-profit charity, called Shuffle & Strides, whose mission it is to promote mental health well-being, create a supportive community and raise awareness about mental health through physical activity and advocacy. If you would like to support our fundraising efforts and the great work Shuffle & Strides carry out, feel free to donate to our page by following link: https://lnkd.in/g9xDDXdq
