About us
CLOTHING | FASHION In the spirit of collaboration, Ngali brings together a talented group of emerging, inspiring and gifted indigenous artists who showcase their talents through the mediums of painting, photography and artistic creation. We translate that art into easy wear clothing and collectibles. By doing so we work together to tell our stories and move towards a common outcome - success for all. Our vision is seeded in our name "Ngali" which in Aboriginal language translates to 'we'. As a ‘for-profit’ social enterprise we give recognition and financial support to indigenous artists and artisans as well as make our contribution to the advancement of our women and children. We are part of the oldest continuous culture on Earth. Together we are strength, growth and unity. Ngali...Together we create.

Earlier this year, we proudly partnered with Richmond Football Club for the second 'Together We Dream' event. The evening gave us the opportunity to showcase more of the creativity that exists within our community. Co-ordinated by Keedan Rigney we brought together 6 fabulous artists to create artwork on a number of plinths that formed part of the runway passage. When we all work together, magical things happen! We are immensely proud and excited by our partnership with Richmond Football Club and are already eagerly anticipating next year's event. Plinth artists included: Keedan Rigney @corneliuspaint Ngalnya Atkinson Jed Bennell Samantha Richards Jayen Wilson Josh Deane @joshdeaneofficial Khatija Possum #TogetherWeDream #FirstNationsArt #Ngali

In early July Ngali Australia attended a Traceability Symposium in Europe as the guest of the Export Council of Australia. Traceability in the fashion industry is a critical journey towards transparency and sustainability. From raw material sourcing to manufacturing and distribution, understanding the entire supply chain is essential for minimising the industry's ecological footprint and ensuring ethical practices. Allocating time to learn from EU leaders in this field marked a significant investment in our commitment to care for the environment and reduce our company's carbon footprint. #Ngali#Togetherwecreate

Together with Ngali Australia, last week Sofitel Melbourne On Collins celebrated their 60th Anniversary by hosting a spectacular LaSoiree: A Symphony of Sparkles! The evening was a dazzling affair, filled with elegance and unforgettable moments. The collaboration celebrated the heritage and future of both Sofitel Club and Ngali, showcasing the rich First Nations artistic history that Ngali represents and the immense growth it beholds for the future. In celebration of NAIDOC Week and to honour our First Nations Communities, Ngali partnered with Investa to create a special lobby installation. This display offered a chance for Investa to engage with and appreciate the rich cultures through Ngali’s unique aesthetics and elements of Australian natives. The installation, "Keep The Fire Burning, Blak, Loud and Proud," showcases "Whispers of Eucalyptus: A Gum Tree Portrait Collection," inspired by on-Country gumtree photography by our Founder, Denni Francisco. Many thanks to Leah Rattray for her vision and support to have Investa celebrate NAIDOC Week with us. Ngali Australia
