About us
Onecard Group is an Australian software company, specialising in Workforce Compliance solutions. Our unique Transferable Skills Passport reduces the high volume of duplicate training and assessment which occurs daily in most industries. RegTech is not sexy, it's often overlooked in busy businesses. Having access to current data, mapped to your business needs, is not a 'Nice to Have', it is a legal requirement for companies around the globe, and is critical in protecting employees, contracts, and businesses. Across the world, there are sweeping changes to Work Health and Safety Legislation which has resulted in a significant increase in fines and penalties for breaches of the WHS, which includes failure to have evidence of an employee’s Training and Licenses. IOC can provide the first line of defence for your business, and peace of mind to Directors.

This week was bittersweet as the Onecard group team said a physical goodbye to our advisory board member, colleague, and good friend, Mike Kyriacou. Mike and his family are heading to the USA, following the success of his startup, Kopernicus AI. Fortunately, Mike remains an active member of the Onecard board and will be helping us establish our presence and office in the USA. I first met Mike four years ago, and he has been instrumental in guiding me through the tech landscape and navigating the challenges of investment. Together with the exceptional skills and knowledge of Onecard Co-founder, Jeff Sinclair, and other team members, Onecard Group has now gone global. We are also about to launch our second platform, which will further revolutionise workforce compliance and eliminate the administrative burden, making our intuitive technology easy to use and affordable for companies of all sizes worldwide. Last week, I had the privilege of spending three days at the Henderson Alliance booth at the Indian Ocean Defence & Security (IODS) Conference in Perth. By Friday afternoon, my feet were protesting, but the fantastic people I met and the incredible interest in Henderson Alliance made it all worthwhile. I've been a board member of Henderson Alliance for four years now, and I’m often asked what motivated me to join. Here’s my story. I spent 20 years as an operational training manager in the blue-collar, mining, and resource sector industries, working on some of Australia’s biggest projects. In 2018, while bootstrapping my workforce compliance software company Onecard group, my colleague and trusted friend Janet Curran asked me to collaborate with her RTO, Future Institute of Australia, on the workforce development plan for Bombardier's bid for the METRONET contract. Although I didn’t know much about trains, I had extensive knowledge of innovative apprenticeship and training programmes, so I said yes. Our strategy involved having rail apprentices rotate through WA’s various industry sectors during their apprenticeships, including rail, mining, and defence, to produce well-rounded, experienced tradespeople. During this time, I met Rohan Green, Colleen Yates MBA, Terry Gropp,Mark MacLennan, Matt Morgan and the board of Henderson Alliance. I was amazed by their dedication to supporting SMEs working in or aspiring to work in the Defence SME sector. Despite their busy schedules, they selflessly gave their time and knowledge to help others entering the industry, a stark contrast to what I had seen in other blue-collar sector. Given my focus on workforce compliance, I understood the challenges SMEs face, particularly with the added layers of Defence compliance. Seeing SMEs struggle, I knew I could make a difference. I wanted to join this incredibly supportive team and contribute to their mission. Being a member of Henderson Alliance has been a rewarding experience, and I’m proud to be part of such a dedicated and inspiring group of professionals. #HendersonAlliance #DefenceIndustry #SME #WorkforceCompliance #Leadership #ProfessionalGrowth #Innovation #TrainingProgrammes #Onecardgroup, #digitaltransformation Defence Australia Emilio De Stefano Serge DeSilva-Ranasinghe,Shaun Thomas, Professor Gary Martin FAIM, Gabe Alves, Sarah Tartakowski, Chartered MCIPS, MBA (SProc), Kate Spencer, Davide Sirolli, Keith R., Roy O'Reilly, Markus Widlitzke, Linda Dawson,Melissa Lithgow,

Last week, I had the honour of pitching Onecard group at the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand Defence Pitch Night in Adelaide. A huge thanks to CORE Innovation Hub for nominating Onecard group, and to Dr Tim Mahlberg Sie from Stone & Chalk for hosting such a fantastic event. I followed up the next day with a productive meeting with Paul Dalyrom the Defence Trailblazer program. I highly recommend that Henderson Alliance members with tech innovations reach out to Paul for next year's intake. While many people think of Onecard group as solely for manual labour industries, employers in many professional fields also need support with CPD evidence, WHS requirements, and all their in-house training needs. Our growing list of clients includes Defence SMEs, Food and Beverage Manufacturing, Contractors, Mining SMEs, Local Governments and Shire Councils, schools, medical facilities, gyms, and landscapers. We can also support accountants, real estate agents, veterinarians, volunteer organisations, and any company that undertakes accreditation like ISO, NATA, and IRATA. Thank you to everyone who has supported Onecard group’s journey. We’re excited to continue expanding our impact across diverse industries. 🐌 'Slippery little Suckers!' 🐌 Work Instructions (WI) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP): These critical documents can easily get lost, slip a manager’s mind, and create confusion about who has done what and how they are saved. Yet, they are the secret sauce of your company. How you write, use, and record them speaks volumes about your organisation. Case Study: 💼 One of our clients had over 500 Work Instructions (WI) relating to their machinery and manufacturing lines. The company highly valued their WI, and provided training and assessment to employees, and this set them apart from their competition, increased employee retention, and made the workplace safer. However, they struggled to have visibility over which employees had been trained and which needed more support. They also wanted to reward those competent operators. Enter Onecard! Working with their team, we transformed their Work Instructions into 'Skill Sets'and provided each employee with a Skills Passport. Team leaders and managers could then track each employee’s progress, resulting in a win-win for all. Yes, we do handle traditional training and licence records like High-Risk licences and RTO qualifications and certificates. But, I love the work we do with Work Instructions and Safe Work Procedures! Having visibility over critical company procedures creates an inclusive safety culture and fosters a collaborative team environment. When everyone knows their role and feels supported, it not only enhances safety but also builds a stronger, more united workforce. Yesterday was a landmark day for Onecard Group! We bid a fond farewell to the original Industry Onecard platform, and welcomed the sleek, new Onecard Enterprise. 🚀 In 2016, after being made redundant, I decided to turn redundancy into an opportunity. With 20 years of experience as an operational training manager and more than my share of dreadful software, I set out to revolutionise how companies manage employee training and licence records. The catch? I didn’t have a clue about tech or startups. 🤷♀️ Fast forward eight years, and now I’m at the helm of a software company with platforms in Australia, the USA, and the UK. I’m lucky to have the best co-founders who are tech geniuses. By combining my industry expertise with their programming prowess, we’ve created Onecard Enterprise—the ultimate Employee Skills Passport. 🏆 If you’re sick of dodgy data and clunky platforms that barely do the job and waste hours of your time, give Onecard Enterprise a go with our 30-day free trial. We’d love your feedback! 🙌 https://lnkd.in/g76PsVZt #NewChapter hashtag #TechRevolution #OnecardEnterprise #EmployeeTraining #GameChanger

Over the past weeks, Onecard Group has gained many new followers and connections, and I would like to welcome all of you to our network. I thought I would take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about us. We are an Australian software company with all developers and team members based onshore in Australia. We offer two smart software platforms that both tackle the 'Administrative Nightmare' of Employee Training Management. We are different from most software companies as we were founded by training management experts and understand the complex nature of the required evidence to meet WHS legislation and your clients' needs, plus the workflows the data needs to follow. The new Onecard Enterprise is a game-changer and can provide a Transferable Employee Skills Passport to save industry sectors millions of dollars by reducing the current high volume of duplicate training and assessment opportunities.
