In reality, it's impossible to succeed with just one style. 🚀ANNOUNCEMENT: T-EDI Standards will be officially launched at the National Tech Summit in Naarm on 11th November. Find out more about the new industry standards that are set to enable Australia to access the missing talent and skills technology needs to compete on the world stage at https://hubs.ly/Q02Vfw6s0. STEM-specific initiatives focused on creating awareness and capability in girls and women have shown strong results in recent years, with increasing participation year on year. However, this isn't translating into the same growth in tech-career participation, largely due to the systemic barriers women face in technology workplaces. The T-EDI Standards have been developed to benchmark organisations against best and leading #EDI practices and to guide them to remove systemic barriers for women. The standards are aligned with international approaches and use an #intersectional lens to include other equity dimensions and experiences. This is a call to action for senior leaders in the technology ecosystem of Australia to be accountable for their company's role in solving what is a burning platform for the tech sector. T-EDI Standards is supported by the Tech Council of Australia with their collaboration and endorsement and also endorsed by the Future Skills Organisation.
