Keeping Pathology Bulked Billed - the greatest Marketing Campaign Seen! We have heard the marketing on the radio, we have seen it on the billboards, they are gearing up before they threaten to introduce Gap Payments to the same patients that they made sign petitions that automatically went to their local GP calling for Pathology Fees to be re-indexed last year, screaming poor because they haven't been increased in 25 years. Will this provide more services to Regional Patients? NO Will this fix the Staffing Shortage? NO Will this mean that patients get more test each year available on Medicare? NO Will this mean that Blood test that you are required to have for occupational reasons that aren't covered by Medicare, that Private Pathology Increased last year without notifying referring doctors, will be covered by Medicare? NO What is means is that the ASX 3 Major Privately Owned Pathology Providers who got a taste for Government funding to boost their profits during Covid, want that gravy train to continue, at the cost to Australian people one way or another. Whilst their employees are paid a few dollars above the Minimum Wage in Australia and considerably less than their State Sector Coworkers. At last year’s federal budget they succeeded in bullying Mark Butler into handing over a third of the funds they were after, they have ramped up the pressure early for the rest for 2025’s Budget. Meanwhile Minister Butler’s Diary hasn’t allowed for him to meet with Industry Professionals from the Pathology sector, only the ASX Private Companies. We thought we had a working people political party running the country 🤔 #pathologyworkersdeservebetter #australiansdeservebetterhealthcare #stopprivitisationofmedicare

PCA and our Professional Associates who belong to our Association long for the day that the ASX Privately owned Private Pathology outpatient Bulk billed Pathology Providers who are marketing their “Keep Pathology Bulk Billed” in preparation for next years Federal Budget who have to contribute the same to Pathology Innovation! Goodness knows the marketing costs are surely affecting to low wage offers that are causing workers to walk off the job.
#Genomics has the power to create medicines and prevent diseases. Equitable access to genomics will not only enrich our understanding of ourselves, but ensure that everyone, everywhere, benefits from it.

ACL WA prepare to walk off the job after a insulting pay offer that saw a wage increase that only aligned with the annual minimum wage increase from this ASX Listed company who had the aspirations to acquire Healius the year prior. We are not going to fix the Staffing and Skills crisis affecting the Bulked Billed Outpatient Pathology Sector with wage offers like these! We offer our members the benefits of only needing to look in one spot to view all the professional pathology positions available across Australia, and we encourage you to post jobs that you see that aren't posted! We are often contacted by smaller NFP or smaller independent pathology providers who don't advertise on the larger job networks.
