Full steam ahead! Pilbara Ports set the course for Perdaman’s milestone urea move 🚢 Pilbara Ports were pleased to be a part of Saipem Clough JV and Perdaman’s exciting milestone last week, facilitating the first module movements for their Pilbara urea project. Five modules were discharged in this first shipment, with more than 100 still to come! Our Terminal Operations team ensured the whole thing went off without a hitch, taking approximately 60 minutes to safely transit the modules off the vessel and through our security gatehouse where they made their way to the nearby project site. Once complete, Pilbara Ports new Dampier Bulk Handling Facility will support the Perdaman Urea Project by providing access to a worldwide urea market. 🌊 🐢 Celebrating our commitment to conservation! 🌊 🐢 We’re thrilled to share that Pilbara Ports was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation from Care for Hedland Turtle Monitoring at last night’s End of Turtle Season Celebration. As part of our commitment to environmental conservation, Pilbara Ports provided a $10,000 grant to support the purchase of state-of-the-art turtle nest monitoring technology. This new equipment will replace ageing systems and help volunteers accurately track turtle nest locations, gather valuable research data, and monitor hatching rates. A huge thank you to Care for Hedland and all the incredible volunteers who dedicate their time to protecting these amazing marine creatures. ⭐ 🐢 Image below👇 Pilbara Ports Executive General Manager Terminal Operations Nick Perceval (centre) with Chairperson Barry Harrison (Left) and Operations Manager Kelly Howlett (Right) from Care for Hedland.
