Upgrading History: The Rocks Argyle Terrace Courtyard Placemaking NSW have submitted a major DA to revitalise the Argyle Terrace Courtyard, located in the historic precinct of The Rocks. Currently, the courtyard serves as an outdoor dining area and is a key public space in The Rocks. The courtyard has become visually cluttered with moveable umbrellas, heaters, planter boxes and other restaurant-related infrastructure. This clutter obstructs views of the natural rock feature and limits pedestrian flow through the space. A new weather-proof canopy structure and major landscaping improvements are proposed to enhance functionality and aesthetic appeal of the space. _____ Don't miss out on any major project news in Sydney. If approved, the development would introduce between 2,000 to 2,5000 homes, bringing an estimated 5,570 new residents to the area. The project envisions, in the early stages, 7 x super lots.
