  • Today we hosted the Australian Banking Association's International Women's Day event in Melbourne.      Bringing together ABA's CEO, Anna Bligh, and NAB EGM, Business Direct and Small Business, Krissie Jones, for a discussion moderated by our Financial Services Industry Leader Barry Trubridge.      They shared their personal experiences, insights, and ideas on how we can continue to make strides towards gender equality, ensuring equal access to education, employment and economic participation.      Some key takeaways included;      🟣 The distinction between mentorship and sponsorship. A sponsor is someone who actively backs you and drives your career forward.     🟣 The importance of policies that support carers and the criticality of men taking paid parental leave.      🟣 The gap between Australia’s high level of education for women and girls and workforce participation levels.     #IWD2025

Ever wondered what it’s like to be part of our Early Careers community? Step into a day in the life of one of our graduates, Tae, and see what he gets up to.     "Starting out as a vacationer at PwC, I never anticipated just how impactful the Early Careers Program experience would be. Joining the Graduate Program afterwards felt like a natural progression, yet it opened up so many new doors.     I've been able to connect with a diverse group of peers who are of similar age and across various service lines, and it's incredible how everyone brings their own unique perspective to everything we do."    Run, don't walk. Applications for our Early Career Programs close on the 16th of March. Head to pwc.com.au/earlycareers to find out more and apply now!    #PwCEarlyCareersAU
