We loved taking part in the Polar Plunge with Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Tony, Grant and 41 other brave plungers braved the cold and were freezin' for a reason at the Chermside Aquatic Centre. We also want to say thank you to the other organisations that joined including: Australian Federal Police, Queensland Police Service, Australian Border Force, Gallagher Australia, Special Olympics Australia, and Rackley Swimming. The Polar Plunge raised just over $8,800 which will help the athletes reach their goals. #freezinforareason #inclusion #PlungeForACause #lawenforcementqld

We love helping our Members stay safe from scams, so here's a couple of tips on online safety: 1. Never use contact details that are sent to you through email or text. 2. Always do your own research and find contact details online. 3. Don't open attachments unless you're sure where they came from. 4. Don't click on links in an email or text message.

QBANK Relationship Manager Tony visited the Rockhampton Region recently. He loved visiting our partners: Queensland Police Service, Queensland Correctional Services, Queensland Central Regional Education, Rockhampton Regional Council, and the Rockhampton Hospital. He finished his trip by representing QBANK at the 2024 Queensland Health Staff Recognition Awards.

Last week, QBANK held a morning tea to raise money to support the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) and its Polar Plunge. The LETR is hoping to raise $20,000 with its Plunge for Inclusion. This will go to support the Athletes of Special Olympics Australia. The Plunge is being held at Chermside Aquatic Centre on 4 August. A few QBANK staff are getting involved and we can’t wait to get some photos of them jumping into the icy waters. If you want to help support them but don’t want to jump into a pool, head to https://lnkd.in/gubZvR8S and donate today.
