The team at Qube Logistics' agri terminal in Newcastle welcomed students from Kempsey High School NASCA Academy recently. We work with NASCA on their Pathways initiative, to introduce First Nations young women to career pathways and industries that they otherwise may not have had the opportunity to explore. It's a great opportunity to broaden horizons and to think outside the box! The students learnt all about logistics and were given a tour of the silos, lab, and truck loading areas and found out about the many career pathways into logistics that are open to them. Qube is delighted to continue collaborating with NASCA. We're committed to showcasing the diverse career pathways available to the community! #Qube #QubeHoldings #logisticscareers #newcastle #awabakalcountry #Worimi

This week we announced a trial of a bulk electric haulage vehicle with our customer, Talison Lithium, along the Talison Haulage Route from the Greenbushes Lithium Operation to the Port of Bunbury. The trial will feature a fully electric prime mover with a double trailing set, which, once in operation, will be the largest on-road electric truck combination in the world. To commemorate the trial, Qube and Talison jointly ran a sustainability-themed competition, asking students in the Southwest and Warren-Blackwood regions of Western Australia: "What does a greener future look like to me?" We were looking for an inspiring design to feature on the new fully electric prime mover – and with so many talented artists out there, we had a fantastic response from the community! Congratulations to Willa, Mike, and Blayne for picking up first, second and third places respectively! Stay tuned for updates in the coming months. #Qube #QubeHoldings #electricprimemover #greenerfuture Daniel Mainstone Todd Emmert

"It's not every day you get to hand a giant donation cheque to puppets!" Qube's Teagan Peck did the honours, presenting Camp Quality with a cheque for $5,500 after Qube Energy Chinchilla smashed their annual safety KPIs. For more than 40 years, Camp Quality has brought positivity, fun, and laughter back into the lives of kids facing cancer. Qube Energy's donation will support the cancer education programs delivered by Camp Quality Puppets in three early learning centres in Queensland. "After living in Chinchilla for four years, knowing the struggles the community can face accessing essential health care services, we're so happy to support Camp Quality, so they can continue the important work of supporting regional towns," Teagan says. A HUGE thanks to the Camp Quality team for one of the most unique cheque presentations! And congrats to the team in Chinchilla for helping the kids of Queensland in the most challenging of times. #Qube #QubeHoldings #thrive #donation #CampQuality

Meet Shane and Vinny from our Pilbara Lithium Crew, who can be found traveling Port Hedland with a special message for everyone they see: R U OK? The team makes sure our three bespoke R U OK? trailers are clean and easy to spot on the road, encouraging those in our community who may need additional support to ask for it.  Checking in on each other is a huge part of Qube in the Pilbara. It’s never weak to speak. #QubeHoldings #QubeBulk #MondayMorning #PositiveStart #RUOK

We’re getting behind Movember again in support of men’s health. Our fathers, partners, brothers, and friends are facing a health crisis, yet it’s rarely talked about. Men are dying too young. We can’t afford to stay silent. Mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer – Movember is taking them all on. At Qube, we want everyone to thrive. So if you'd like to get involved, join either our Australian or Aotearoa New Zealand team and grow, move, host or mo your own way! 🤓 AU: https://ow.ly/mCBf50Tywyg NZ: https://ow.ly/MBew50Tywyf #Qube #QubeHoldings #Movember #Movember2024

We welcomed NSW Minister for Planning and Member for Wollongong, the Hon Paul Scully MP, and senior representatives from Woolworths Group, to Qube’s IMEX Terminal at Moorebank for a behind-the-scenes tour of our automated facilities today. Situated in south-west Sydney, the high-tech inland port is one of a kind, designed to ease pressure on the port supply chain at Sydney’s busy Port Botany and offer more flexibility to Australia’s importers and exporters through the use of high frequency port rail shuttles. Automation, Engineering & Systems Manager, Paul Kelly, gave the group a rundown of our automated rail crane operations, while the Minister even capably tried his hand as a crane operator! Thank you for visiting!

With the end of the school year in sight, and big, bold futures on the horizon, students from the Clontarf Foundation’s 158 academies are turning their attention to career opportunities. We’ve been busy attending Clontarf Employment Forums across Australia meeting the next generation of grads! In Sydney, New South Wales, General Manager of Moorebank Terminals, Jack Moore, clued the students into some of the exciting possibilities of working in an automated terminal, like the IMEX Terminal at Moorebank. And in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, Maintenance Supervisor Daniel Howard spoke to students about the mechanical side of our business. Qube is a proud partner of Clontarf Foundation, which exists to improve the education, discipline, life skills, self-esteem, and employment prospects of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men. #Qube #QubeHoldings #ClontarfFoundation #schoolleavers #NextGeneration
