United by excellence! 🙌 What happens when you bring together 120+ QAS team members? Momentum. Energy. Inspiration. 🔥 The QAS Super Huddle was a time to pause, reflect and plan for what lies ahead in our LA2028 strategy. It was a celebration of our people, our progress and the values that have shaped us over the past year. One year ago, we launched our QAS values, and today, they are not just words—we live them. They are embedded in the way we collaborate, lead, and push forward—together. With LA2028 on the horizon, one thing is certain. We are united and we are striving for extraordinary sporting success! #qldacademyofsport

Sport should be safe, fair, and built on trust and we are dedicated to making that a reality. This week, Tamarah Knox, QAS Sport Integrity Manager, attended the CEO Sport Integrity Forum, hosted by Sport Integrity Australia, where leaders from more than 75 sports came together to tackle the biggest integrity challenges facing sport today. Key insights from the forum: 🔹 Integrity starts with leadership – Embedding integrity in sport requires strong leadership, collaboration, and ongoing education. 🔹 Protecting athletes is priority #1 – Addressing child abuse in sport, strengthening reporting mechanisms and ensuring sanctions uphold safety. 🔹 Learning from experience – Real-world case studies offer critical lessons to improve integrity measures across all levels of sport. 🔹 Stronger together – QAS and its supported sports to work together to set new standards in safeguarding and integrity. We take a zero-tolerance approach to integrity- because safe and fair sport isn’t optional, it’s essential. Through leadership, accountability, and action, we’re committed to protecting athletes and strengthening the future of sport. 📷 1: (L-R) Kieren Parkins, CEO Australian Sports Commission and Tamarah Knox, QAS Sport Integrity Manager. 2: (L-R) Bronwen Downie, Chair, Sport Integrity Australia Athlete Advisory Group, Tamarah Knox, QAS Sport Integrity Manager, Linda Muir, Head of Engagement, Sport Integrity Australia. 3: Group image from Sport Integrity Australia
