ResourceCo is proud to see its tyre recycling business Tyrecycle open Australia’s first dedicated off-the-road (OTR) tyre recycling facility in Pt Hedland, WA. Mining companies, for the first time, now have the opportunity to recycle end-of-life tyres on the doorstep of their Pilbara operations with this new facility. With the capacity to process over 30,000 tonnes of OTR mining tyres annually, the dedicated OTR tyre recycling site will help provide an efficient mine-to-recycling service, enhancing sustainability credentials for operators in one of the world’s busiest mining regions. Thanks to our close work with the mining industry, we’ve developed a world-class tyre recycling capability, delivering sustainable outcomes for end-of-life OTR tyres. #mining #miningtyres #recycling #sustainability #tyrerecycling

Major projects present major opportunities to drive impactful resource recovery outcomes and material circularity. In South Australia, the Torrens to Darlington Project (T2D) is the biggest infrastructure project being undertaken, and recently we were pleased to tour several environmental and sustainability personnel from the T2D Alliance around ResourceCo's Wingfield facility. Each year we host hundreds of site tours across our nation-wide operations, sharing the benefits of landfill diversion and use of recycled products. Thanks to the T2D project team for visiting during such an important stage of your project’s development.

Amongst changing markets, where environmental performance is increasing in importance, ResourceCo has developed new tools to support our customers and their decision to use our sustainable products and services. Our new Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) have been developed to provide customers confidence in the environmental performance of our recycled aggregate products. This is a critical tool as businesses seek to understand the environmental impacts and emissions associated with the products they use. These EPDs provide independently verified environmental impact data associated with the production of our range of recycled products. #sustainability #environmentalperformance #recycling #epdaustralasia
