🌟 Big news at Rising Tide Financial! 🌟 We’re thrilled to announce that our very own Rebecca Pritchard has been named a finalist for the Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA) Adviser of the Year Award! 🎉 For those who know Rebecca, this comes as no surprise. She’s dedicated to her clients and ferocious in her advocacy for equitable financial advice, especially for professional couples and recently separated women. Her work isn’t just about short-term success—it’s the result of over a decade of commitment to elevating the financial well-being of all Australians. Rebecca embodies everything Rising Tide stands for: having the right conversations, acting with care and empathy, and enjoying the ride. While this is a moment to celebrate her, it’s also a nod to our whole team—we know no one succeeds alone. We couldn’t think of anyone better to fight for women’s financial health or inspire the next generation of planners. Good luck to Rebecca and the other finalists in Sydney this week! 👏 We’ll be cheering you on!

Feeling incredibly grateful to be named one of the recipients of the ReCALIbrate grant for 2024 from the Council of Australian Life Insurers (CALI). This initiative got me square between the eyes, addressing two real obstacles of attending a conference: financial limitations and the often unspoken mental load that comes with being a working mum. Between work, study and home life, the idea of tackling more childcare, meal prep, another tense conversation with Mr. P about nights away, all the logistics to attend the FAAA Congress felt heavy—into the too-hard basket it went. Thanks to this grant, not only am I off to the FAAA Congress, but I also have the funds to tackle those hurdles head-on. Extra childcare? Sorted. Pre-cooked meals? Done. A grumpy husband? Gone. Well done to the team behind this initiative—I look forward to meeting the other recipients in Brisbane and making the most of this opportunity. #ReCALIbrate #FAAA #FinancialPlanning #WomenInFinance
📣📣Announcing the five women in risk advice who have been awarded ReCALIbrate grants for 2024! A huge congratulations to Nicole B., Janice Choo, Nikki Szprinc, Rebecca Pritchard and Sam Greene 🎉 – five impressive women from around the country who juggle life and business all while empowering their clients to achieve financial security. Each woman will receive a $2000 grant to attend the Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA) Congress on 27-29 November 2024 in Brisbane. CALI’s ReCALIbrate program fosters diversity in the industry and helps ensure that the life insurance industry is not only representative of the community it serves but also provides opportunities for more women to participate. “Each of these incredible women have a unique story to tell and through their work provide essential peace of mind for people, especially other women, during life’s biggest challenges,” said CALI CEO Christine Cupitt. As part of the program, the five recipients will also be paired with senior women in the industry to provide a forum for mentorship, learning, support and career advice – an offering that previous recipients have said is an invaluable part of the program.
