Riversgold Limited (ASX:RGL) is just beginning to delve into an extensive gold-bearing porphyry system with aircore (AC) drilling at the Northern Zone Intrusive Hosted Gold Project in Western Australia, which now stretches over 600 metres of strike. The company believes the drill bit is contacting the very top of the #gold system, with results from the first eight of 30 completed drill holes confirming the presence of a large, mineralised zone. The results from the remaining 22 holes are still pending. “Our latest drilling and geological modelling at Northern Zone have confirmed the presence of significant gold within this expansive, yet still, massive porphyry system located just east of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia,” Riversgold chair David Lenigas said. Our Chairman David Lenigas sat down with Proactive to discuss the latest assay results from the Northern Zone Intrusive Hosted Gold Project, located 25 kilometres east-south-east of the Kalgoorlie Super Pit in Western Australia.⛏️📍 Lenigas shared that our recent drilling results have exceeded expectations, revealing a high-grade supergene zone with gold grades ranging from 2 to 5 grams per tonne, starting at a depth of about 30 metres. Strong results have come in from the recent aircore drilling campaign of Riversgold Limited at the Northern Zone Intrusive Hosted Gold Project, 25kms east-south-east of the #KalgoorlieSuperPit in Western Australia. Results indicate a significant gold mineralisation event, with drilling targeting the shallower, up-dip portion of the mineralised system.
