I don't think I could have asked for better opportunities for both personal and professional development when making the decision to move the Goldfields just over three years ago. Since then, I have been involved in a number of projects and community events, many of which will likely remain career highlights. Last weekend, I got to combine it all into one with the opening of the Pitman and Walsh Memorial Site. After two and half years of stakeholder engagement, design consultation and construction, the collective vision has come to life. It is not often you get to be involved in something that has such a significant meaning to the city in which it is built and so many others around the country. It was truly an honour to carry this project to fruition.
