At the 2025 Global Food Forum, Bobby reminded the room that emissions data isn’t just for compliance- it’s a powerful farm management tool. The more you know about your numbers, the better positioned you are to improve efficiency, reduce input costs, and get ahead of supply chain changes. Put simply tracking emissions = tracking productivity. Plenty of producers are already tracking emissions, whether to get ahead of supply chain requirements or because it just makes business sense. But here’s what’s missing: incentives. It’s something we hear from producers all the time- there needs to be a clear starting point and practical support for agricultural emissions tracking so our industry can clearly highlight the real progress being made on the ground and reap the benefits. Got thoughts or solutions? We’d love to hear them! Read more at The Australian: https://lnkd.in/g7hDrdXX #SustainableAg #Emissions #FarmEmissions

This morning, our very own Bobby Miller joined a powerhouse panel at The Australian’s Global Food Forum in Melbourne, chatting all things sustainability, productivity, and what emissions data really means for farm businesses. Speaking alongside Natalie Collard (Farmers for Climate Action) and Michael Brabant (Single O), Bobby made it clear: emissions tracking isn’t just another box to tick- it’s about giving farmers the data they need to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and stay competitive. With emissions intensity closely linked to productivity, tracking these numbers can be a powerful tool for any farm business. Big thanks to the team at The Australian for having us! If you want to tune in, the panel sessions are live on Sky News. #EmissionsTracking #SustainabilityInAg #GlobalFoodForum2025

Day 2 at AgriFutures evokeAG was another top tier experience, commencing with Leigh Sales on the topic of What Makes Good Communication, "truth and authenticity, we're drowning in bulls#it!". If we thought yesterday's sessions were pioneering and provocative, today followed suit with a focus on funding and investment led by Rob Hulme who questioned whether #agtech is telling its story well enough, "the narrative is screaming survival not growth". Lily Rodgers attended a plenary on The Great Fallacy: The Future is Female with an all star panel consisting of Kylie Frazer, Jocie Bate, Lisa H. Julia Spicer OAM and Sally-Ann Williams FTSE who provided their pearls of wisdom along with some heard-hitting facts - who knew women were only allowed to put down their profession as 'farmers' from 1994?! It was a brilliant couple of days for Bobby Miller and Lily Rodgers filled with friendly faces, continued conversations and strong views - which we 'hold too gently!' #EvokeAg2025 #invest #ag #emissions #sustainability

Day 1 at AgriFutures evokeAG did not disappoint. From startups and scale-ups to producers and prominent businesses, 2000 industry stakeholders came together in Brisbane to find the ‘common ground’, where #agriculture can thrive. The space reverberated with panels and plenary’s, with the brightest minds speaking on a cross-section of topics and commodities, focussing on the need to adopt #innovation into daily operations. In an apt session titled, ‘Tough questions: You ask, they answer’ panelist Adam Fennessy PSM, stated the importance of measuring your own impact as a business, “know your number and measure what matters”. Andrew Bate, CEO and Founder of SwarmFarm Robotics followed this up with something we here at Ruminati wholeheartedly resonate with, “what really matters is getting #production up”. Breakout sessions sparked thoughtful discussions on everything from fuelling the plane many of us arrived on (using #biofuel and what this means for Aussie ag) to bridging the gap between #technology and producers, highlighting the need for ‘evolution not revolution’. As always, it was great to catchup with some friendly faces Carly Green and Natasha Greenwood GAICD along with plenty of others. Bring on day 2 🦾 #EvokeAg2025 #sustainability #agriculture #emissions

Our tireless travellers Bobby Miller and Will Onus were on the road again today, getting their daily dose of both calcium and industry insights at the Australian Dairy Conference on the sunny Gold Coast. Appropriately farm-led, the Australian Dairy Conference Committee’s aim for the two days was to pinpoint and embrace opportunities provided by the dairy industry's current position in Australia inspired by an impressive line up of speakers debating relevant topics applicable to the emission space. Will Onus reported from the front, highlighting the fact it was particularly exciting to talk to a range of different stakeholders about the opportunity of insetting through efficiency, “it feels like there is a real commitment and motivation to keep those reductions within the dairy industry". #ADC2025 #AustralianDairyConference2025 #AustralianDairy #Emissions #Insetting #Opportunities

Last week, our CEO Bobby Miller and Customer Engagement Lead Bill Findlay joined industry leaders at the Impact X Decarb Forum to dive into the future of emissions management in agriculture. It was an inspiring day of roundtable discussions and panel presentations from key players working to create a more sustainable agricultural future 🌱🚜 A standout moment? The conversation on tackling scope 3 emissions, moderated by Mark Rowland from the Climate Action Foundation, with insights from Lion’s Justin Merrell, Inghams Group Limited’s Phil Senn, Nestlé’s Amanda Robertson, and NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development’s Aaron Simmons. The discussion shed light on how corporations are managing emissions under the new reporting laws, tailoring initiatives to suit diverse production systems, and ensuring that solutions reflect the complexity of ag operations. It’s inspiring to see how much action the industry has already taken—and how ready farmers are to showcase their sustainability efforts. Here at Ruminati, we know managing Scope 3 emissions is no small feat, but forums like these prove we’re on the right track. We're committed to keeping farmers at the centre of the conversation, empowering them with tools to track their emissions and share their sustainability stories. Great work is happening across the ag industry, and together, we can ensure those efforts are amplified. #decarbonsiation #agemissions #sustainableag
