🚜 FarmLab SITREP – 7 Mar 25 🌱 Here’s the dirt on what we’ve been up to this past week! 🌾 This past week we’ve helped clients stratify 40,000ha of cropping land across NSW & Victoria a major regenerative ag project. Get Clean Energy Regulator Compliant stratification and maps (almost) instantly to help streamline your next regenerative project. 🍇 Wine & Plant Health Insights – This week, clients also modeled plant disease risks in the Yarra Valley, using sample data collected on the ground & tested in Europe to generate actionable insights for the #wine industry. 🎤 Talking Agtech at SouthStart – Oli Madgett represented FarmLab in Adelaide, discussing the future of Agtech innovation with Agtech Advisor and all round great guy Michael Macolino https://lnkd.in/gCBh7zYW. 🚀 Platform Upgrades! – Missed our last update? We’ve added minimum-sized stratification & improved reporting to help you turbo charge your ag and environmental consulting operation!

🚜 FarmLab SITREP – 28 Feb 25 Here’s the dirt on what we got up to this week: 🎙️ Oli Madgett on Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) Radio! Our very own Oli was interviewed about his work mapping soil carbon across Australia. This coincided with our final Soil Carbon Debrief. Missed them? You can check them out online at: https://lnkd.in/gaMWtzpB 🐄 Sophie and Sam sampled the pastures at the 2025 Wilmot Cattle Co Field Days, asking why should farmers value their environmental data? The responses were fantastic, and we had great catch-ups with participants and speakers (including the amazing Gabe Brown from Brown's ranch). A big thanks to Impact Ag Australia for organising the event! 🏆 FarmLab made the Forward Fooding 500… again! For the 5th (we think? 😆) year in a row, we’re stoked to be recognized for our work in Food & AgriTech. Find out more at: https://lnkd.in/eMP64QU 🚀 Major Feature Release! Not one, but two powerful updates: 🔹 Users can now set a minimum-sized area for strata—no more 'salt and pepper' when defining boundaries! 🔹You can now assign users specific farm access under your account to provide better control over your environmental data.

“Empowerment.” ⚡️👩🌾🧑🌾 Fresh from the stage at the Wilmot Cattle Co field day, Stu Adam from Agronomeye describes why producers should value their environmental data. Thanks Stu (and I guess I’m going to have to let you keep that hat).

‘Telling stories around natural capital and Landscape function.’ Loving how Impact Ag Partners are using Agronomeye to pull together LiDAR and FarmLab data to tell a story around Natural Capital and landscape function. A great tool for growers looking to consolidate their soil and landscape data @ the 2025 Wilmot Cattle Co field day! 📊🗾🛩️

🚜 FarmLab SITREP – 22 Feb 2025 🌱 Here’s the dirt on what we’ve been up to: 🎤 AgriFutures evokeAG 2025, that's a wrap! It was fantastic to reconnect with partners, clients, and some incredible agribusinesses. A shoutout to NARRABRI HIGH SCHOOL, who we sponsored to attend and nailed their pitch on the Demo Stage, Agrology, a Public Benefit Corporation for travelling across from the US to attend, Edward Scott, Sam Bartels, Michael Macolino, Samantha Noon and everyone who came and hung out with us at the booth! Some very special thanks to AgriFutures Australia, Pip Grant, Dallas Pearce, and all those sponsors and parties that made it not just possible, but incredible! 🧑🔬 We had an excellent turnout at the UQ Research Station in Warwick for our Queensland workshop. Representatives from Queensland and Federal Governments, academia, and local stakeholders came together as we shared our latest findings. We also got to see the Remscan MIR sensor in action, instantly measuring soil carbon. 🌾 We checked out Mung Bean trials at Glenvale, collecting carbon samples as part of a broader study on farm management practices and their impact on soil carbon. Looking forward to seeing the results! 🤝 Benjamin and Sam had the opportunity to present to the Thai Government & Thai Ambassador, while Oli met with the Filipino Ambassador in Adelaide to put soil carbon and sustainable farming on the global agenda.
