The Victorian Government appears to be on a winner with its stamp duty changes as the sector reacts positively. Property agency Marshall White has indicated inquiries have increased significantly on the news of the scheme extension. The Property Council of Australia Victorian executive director Cath Evans said the announcement would create confidence within the industry and with homebuyers.
