👏 What an incredible night—definitely one of the best I’ve had in Airlie Beach! The Team Whitsundays Dancing CEOs raised an impressive $85,000 for Women's Legal Service Queensland. It was an unforgettable event, and I want to give a special shout-out to my amazing Dancing CEOs teammates: Kate Purdie CMP, Candice Crossley, Alice Harriott, our fantastic event coordinator Katelyn Aslett ✈️ and the brilliant PR guru Sharon Smallwood. A huge thank you to Brooke Miles Ogden from Brooke Miles Photography for capturing the night with epic photography and to all the incredible suppliers and sponsors who helped make this event a huge success! The funds raised will go directly towards supporting women and children escaping domestic violence, which makes this all the more meaningful. And just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better, we got a huge bonus—hubby Asher Telford won the grand prize: a 5-night luxury charter boat experience with Whitsunday Escape. We’re absolutely thrilled! Thank you so much for such a generous prize and the incredible $48K in prize money. Lastly, a big thank you to SeaLink Marine & Tourism for allowing me the time and space to focus on this important cause over the past couple of weeks. Grateful for it all! 🥰 #womenslegalservice #grateful #makingadifferencetogether #communitysupport #lovewhitsundays #thisisqueensland

🌟🚢 March Forward for ALL Women and Girls 🌟👩💼 Happy International Women’s Day! Today, we celebrate the incredible contributions of women at SeaLink Marine & Tourism and beyond. Through dedication and the support of training and mentorship, she progressed to Reservations Manager at Sydney Harbour, where she now leads with confidence. Deepa’s journey showcases the opportunities available for women in the industry and how passion, dedication, and support can pave the way for leadership success. "Embrace every challenge, trust in your abilities, and take every opportunity to grow. At SeaLink, the possibilities are endless." --Deepa KC, Reservations Manager, Sydney Harbour ✅ Julie Daffy transitioned from a corporate background to pursue a maritime career, starting as a Customer Service Officer while earning her Coxswain qualification. 🚢 Prioritising Safety at SeaLink North Queensland 🚨 Last week, SeaLink North Queensland partnered with Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA), Townsville Coast Guard, Queensland Water Police, Maritime Safety Queensland, and the Townsville trawl fleet for a joint emergency drill! ⚓ This hands-on safety exercise involved multiple life raft launch scenarios at sea 🛟, providing valuable real-world training for our crews and reinforcing the importance of emergency preparedness. With insights from local regulators and marine professionals, these drills are essential in refining our safety procedures and ensuring the highest standards for our passengers and crew. ✅ Continuous improvement matters! Safety is at the core of everything we do and over the coming weeks, we’ll be gathering feedback, fine-tuning procedures, and working closely with our teams to enhance emergency response strategies. 👏 A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this exercise a success!
