Sean was on site with the KLK Civil team helping set up an SPS930 Total Station for final trim on the teams graders. Scott Kramer and the KLK Team are long time users of Trimble Machine Control & Site Positioning equipment. When quizzed on why they choose Trimble, Scott mentioned of the other providers on the job site he is the only one consistently connected. Mark (standing next to grader) from BIMS Earthmoving has made the jump from Trimble GCS900 system to get the latest Earthworks GPSUTS for his low hour 140M grader.   Photos show SITECH completing a measure-up of the grader with an SPS930 total station.   SITECH delivered a sales handover with Mark, showing him the machine/design setup menus, how to set/save offsets in 3D GPS and 2D cross slope and how to navigate newest system.   Mark received a handy field reference guide to keep in the cab, links to download Earthworks Assistant app, and SITECH Support details.

Sean had the pleasure of meeting up with the Groundworks Survey team on a recent trip to the north of the state where they were providing machine control and survey support on a major local project. One of our recent installs consisted of our game changing Trimble Earthworks for wheel loaders. Pictured here is a new wheel loader purchased by 365 Plant hire and fitted with Trimble Earthworks for wheel loaders heading off to work after the recent install. The loader is now busy on site in the north of the state providing high accuracy bucket edge guidance in a rehabilitation application. This system not only allows the operator to have high precision guidance at the bucket edge but also avoidance zones in protected areas & Remote access for DATA transfer for the rehab team. However, once the dozer arrived on-site, the project specifications called for Dual Mast GPS to tackle critical rehab work.
