In Australia this week we have officially earned the “right to disconnect”, although for small businesses this right does not commence until 26 August 2025. Even prior to this new law, we at the Sleep Health Foundation have been giving you permission, and encouragement, to disconnect and lean into more rest, more leisure time and improved sleep! We all probably spend too much time on our phones and computers, it’s hard to switch off as it is. Could this new law be a game-changer in which we see sleep health and broader health improvements via legislation (like we had with seatbelts, smoking etc). We are watching this space carefully and are very interested in activities at the Fair Work Commission. #sleepbetter #disconnect #healthlegislation #health #workleisuresleep https://lnkd.in/gnPAva5W
