  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Training Recap – Perth We had a great turnout for our FEA training at Edith Cowan University! Engineers and product designers gathered for an introductory course that covered the essentials of FEA simulation. From CAD geometry preparation to meshing, defining loads, and interpreting results, participants gained valuable insights into simulation best practices. A big thank you to our experienced instructor Sean Burrows, LEAP Australia and everyone who attended! Participants also had the opportunity to discuss their own projects and were offered a follow-up Q&A session to consolidate their learning. Looking to arrange training for your team? SAE-A can provide tailored sessions and even the venue. • 🚗⚡ SAE-A EV Conversion Seminar with Jaunt ⚡🚗 Over 20 automotive engineers and custom vehicle builders gathered in Scoresby, VIC, for an inside look at Jaunt's EV conversion process, led by co-founder David Budge. Celebrating their 5th anniversary, Jaunt showcased a range of “work-in-progress” vehicles, including iconic Land Rovers and classic cars like the VW Kombi and '59 Corvette. David's approach highlighted the art of restraint, prioritizing balanced conversions while maintaining the character of the original vehicles. Attendees got an exclusive tour of Jaunt's workshop, with insights into battery advancements, performance upgrades, and restoration work. A special thanks to Jaunt for hosting such an informative event! #EVConversion #SAEAustralasia #JauntEV #SustainableDriving #AutomotiveInnovation #ClassicCars

    Real Time Learning

Motorsport Australia and Monash Motorsport teamed up to deliver in spades Education, Experience and Networking to more than 150 High School Students! https://lnkd.in/gTnM9BGY I’m borrowing a phrase from Chantel Collins, Participation Coordinator at Motorsport Australia, a pathway in Motorsport is “best achieved through Education, Experience and Networking”. So true and true of many pathways that we at Real Time Learning wholeheartedly concur with.   Yesterday passionate Monash Engineering Students on the Monash Motorsport team provided a full day of hands-on engaging learning activities. From Driving Simulators to RC Cars, Robotic Car design, so much on offer to educate and inspire this next generation of future engineers!   A huge thank you to Olivia Dowling and the entire Monash Motorsport Team for generously volunteering their time to provide engaging activities and share their passion for motorsport and engineering. Real Time Learning Australia is partnering with Society of Automotive Engineers - Australasia Formula to host a Student VIP Tour at Aus Comp on December 6th at Calder Park Raceway. We are inviting students in Grades 5 through to 11 to register their interest – Places are limited.   If you know students that might be interested in such an opportunity to meet student engineering motorsport teams and from all over Australia and abroad please encourage by sharing this link with them. Industry Professionals in the Motorsport Industry will also be present. Here is a golden opportunity to engage in some valuable networking.   https://lnkd.in/gzmTcGDc Can’t wait to join those that register Trackside at Calder Park Raceway!
