Following the launch of RB-24, the team opened our lab doors to friends, family, and the community for an incredible open day! Alongside UNSW rocketry, Atomcroft and Skylabs, it was a pleasure to share the team’s hard work and dedication, as everyone got up close to the car. Redback extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who came out to support us. Our journey wouldn’t be possible without the community’s support, and we credit much of our success to the family and friends who keep us going!❤️

Wrapping up our series of Throwback Thursdays in 2023! This year marked a monumental leap forward as we unveiled our first competitive dynamic EV car. Achieving this milestone in just one year, we placed 2nd overall in the competition! It was a season of innovation as we pioneered the first AV car developed dynamically, where we retrofitted RB21 into the design. Reflecting on our journey, we're thrilled by the progress and are eager to propel forward in the years to come. Every race fuels our passion for excellence and innovation and pushes us to continue to challenge the status quo in the Formula Student competitions.

Shout-out to Redback Alumni Jemma Hodgson!
“The coolest thing about my job is being provided the opportunity to work on platforms that simply don’t exist in other industries. My experience as an intern and graduate has largely been developing products that will be installed on the Collins-class submarines. Designing something for a submarine presents unique engineering challenges, like environmental and packaging considerations, while giving exposure to advanced and unique technologies.” Read more about Jemma’s graduate journey: https://lnkd.in/g7GZVXnf

Throwback to 2021-2022. Amidst the challenges of COVID-19, these years marked a monumental stride for our team as we embarked on crafting our first dynamically running electric vehicle, a project spanning two years due to the pandemic's impact. Fast forward to 2022, where we proudly took our meticulously crafted 2021 CAD model to competition, running dynamically despite unforeseen obstacles that kept us from competing alongside top-tier teams. Despite this, we continued to show our dedication to pushing boundaries in Formula Student racing.
