We're incredibly excited to announce that Noosa Shire is the first council in Queensland to join the Sport4All movement! 🙌 This means we're teaming up with local legends – clubs, coaches, and schools – to create opportunities for people with disability to get involved in sport. We'll be working hard to make Noosa's sporting scene even more inclusive. Earlier this year, the Alice Springs Town Council (ASTC) hosted their annual ice-skating event, and with support from Sport4All and the National Indigenous Australians Agency, they made it even more inclusive for people with disability. Sport4All worked with the ASTC to implement accessible features like: • Dedicated sessions with adjusted lighting and sound for sensory sensitivities • Assistive equipment, including standing frames • Wheelchair access to the rink • Community outreach to encourage participation from diverse groups The event was a resounding success, attracting over 4,200 participants!
