Have you ever felt like you're just spinning your wheels, trying to get back to where you were before a challenge knocked you off course? The truth is, resilience isn't about returning to the same place—it’s about pushing forward, stronger and more determined than ever. In leadership and life, setbacks are inevitable. But how you respond defines your path. Moving forward with greater strength means embracing the lessons, owning your growth, and stepping into a version of yourself that’s more equipped to handle the next challenge. It's time to shift your perspective. Instead of focusing on bouncing back, start thinking about how you can use every setback as a stepping stone to build greater strength and resilience. Are you ready to turn your challenges into powerful growth opportunities? 💪 Join me online on Friday and discover the 5 steps to build your inner resilience. 🔸 Helping Overloaded Leaders Make Solid Decisions 🔸 Strengthened Communication 🔸 Connection. Trust. Alignment. Bond.
About us
At TRM, whether it’s working one-on-one, in small teams, or in workshops, our work is about diving deep into trust, resilience building, relationship development, and self-awareness. We believe that for a leader to perform for their team and organisation, they first must be able to perform for themselves. They have to understand who they are, how they work, what they want and how they communicate. Our goal is to improve the quality of their relationships, both with others and themselves. Leaders who spend their time caught in trying to manage their external environment, tend to fail. They find themselves with unreliable results and build an inconsistent culture. They’ll never be a Grit Trailblazer, leading a profitable team within an enviously healthy culture. Instead, for a leader to effectively perform in a relationship with key stakeholders - team, clients, executives - they must first perform in a relationship with themselves. We know the core competencies that turn a strong manager into an exceptional leader with a natural flair for inspiring... and this is a skill that can be taught! Just like her clients, Sally has led in high-end, pressure-filled environments and felt frustrated, drained, and under-appreciated whilst seeking a valued, aligned, energised approach to leadership. She believes that to reach the goal of leading a functional, harmonious, healthy workplace culture, you must be your best authentic self. As an evidence-based coach, having led sophisticated teams for most of her working life, Sally balances deep leadership experience with proven models for change. Where other leadership experts might lead with pretentiousness, Sally prefers to lead with directness and honesty. And where professional development tends to live inside a notepad, Sally’s work has a proven track record of living in the hearts of her clients. Get in touch with Sally today to discuss her 1-on-1 coaching options, team facilitation packages, or workshops & keynotes.

Communication is at the absolute heart of everything we do in the workplace. From a simple email to a major presentation. And while it may be simple on paper (no pun intended!), it takes intentional effort. But it is a skill that can be learned. I believe in the transformative power of this skill I call 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙩 so much that I made it the primary focus of my training at the 14th edition of The Geelong Small Business Festival on Tuesday, August 13. Come along for an honest conversation blended with fun and interactive exercises, and learn how to transform the way you lead - both yourself and others 😊 It's all about how to Communicate with Impact. In case you didn't know, The Geelong Small Business Festival is our region’s largest dedicated business festival and has helped hundreds of local businesses and nearly 30,000 people looking to start, grow or improve their business. GSBF is brought to you by the City of Greater Geelong in partnership with the Geelong Chamber of Commerce. This training will be a best fit for you if you are looking to: * Reduce conflict * Be confident in your approach/Speak your mind * Understand others better * Build a connection with your colleagues * Inspire sales * Be more inspirational! * Improve feedback and * Communicate what you actually want to (without offending, questioning yourself or mumbling through what you intended to say) I'm very excited about delivering this one! 👏 Go here to the booking page: https://lnkd.in/g8DAyYWU ... and reserve your seat! Because if communication is measured by the quality of response we get, and without overlooking the outcome of our little game, I can’t insist enough on why perfecting our team’s communication skills should be our primary goal as leaders right now. It was a fun hour sharing my 5-step process of how to 'Build Resilience in Oneself and Others' with their staff across the nation. Thanks to Andrew Sinclair and all the team who got me on board and assisted the facilitation process behind the scenes. For their first-ever attempt at an all-day online training, they surely did knock it out of the park! If you think your team would get value from a 1-hour online and interactive leadership training such as the one I delivered for Bunnings, reach out and let's chat about how we can make that happen! #selfleadership #leadbyexample #resilientleadership #leadershiptraining #resilienceatwork #leadingtheway
Fostering a customer-focused mindset, resiliency in oneself, courageous leadership and gen AI were among the 15 topics explored by more than 1,000 Bunnings staff in its first-ever Festival of Learning for support centre employees. As many brands struggle to lift flatlining customer experiences through external channels and fewer than one in 20 prioritise the role employees have in this mix, Bunnings has been busy ensuring staff in corporate HQ also have the smarts to help realise its principles of widest range, lowest prices and best experiences for customers. With sessions averaging at least 300 participants and an 80 per cent-plus engagement rate, the experimental learning platform has been deemed a hit and a sign of the connective tissue between customer delivery and employee engagement, Bunnings head of talent and capability, Mark McLaren, tells Mi3. Networking with colleagues is a high priority for me and Friday is always a good time to have coffee or wine. So it was great to have a stimulating interchange of ideas with Sally Higoe from Team Resilience Method last week. Two hours and two coffees later in the ambience of the Black Cup Cafe in Garden street, East Geelong we had exchanged ideas on all things business - how to set boundaries on our work lives, how to be pro-active rather than reactive, how to be optimistic rather than pessimistic and how we work with our clients to help them do that. Sally had attended the recent exciting event in Geelong on Leading Transformational Change with Optimism at which Victor Perton, from The Centre for Optimism and Tracey Slatter, CEO of the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) spoke. Like so many people she found her work validated by the message that was shared that night by our speakers. As an organiser of that event it was good to get her feedback. I encourage my colleagues to check out Sally's team resilience website and connect with her here on LinkedIn.

I'm incredibly grateful that Owen from the team at the University of Melbourne took the time to leave such a positive and detailed review. Delivering this leadership content to the next generation of leaders was highly enjoyable and it was wonderful to hear that such value was received. #leadwithpurpose #leadbyexample #qualityleadership #globalleadership #tailoredpresentation

Case in point, how do you tell if you (or your team!) are… ▸ Tactical or Strategic? ▸ Emotional or Rational? ▸ Proactive or Reactive? ▸ Future or Past Thinker? ... I had the absolute pleasure of sharing this thought process with the necessary strategies to grasp the concept, with 2 groups of 50 undergraduate students at Melbourne University this month. The training topic was Leadership in a Global Context, so I shared universal behavioural frameworks so everyone could gain deep knowledge and understanding of both their own and others' preferred styles. With this information, they can approach any leadership and management position WITH a global context because they'll know what's needed to inspire, guide, grow and get the best out of anyone that they work with, no matter where they’re from or what they’ve previously done. This in turn means they can grow any business successfully due to having an understanding of how to leverage people. (My favourite part was the amazing questions asked and the awe in which the students leant in. I'd say that's a pretty good result ☺️) #leadwithpurpose #leadershipdevelopment #leadershipskills #successhabits #relationshipsmatter #globalcommunication #whyconformchooseperform
