Fellow Coxswains please read! Especially in masters rowing, crews always struggle to get coxswains for training and more importantly, racing! Any Melbourne-based Coxswians that are keen to assist, jump into boats for training and maybe racing, or have gaps on race day then let's start communicating amongst ourselves and help other clubs out. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN JUMPING INTO BOATS PLEASE PM ME SO I CAN SEE WHAT WE CAN DO. Especially junior or inexperienced coxswains who want some practice; some crews will even pay you.

My other love, Triathlon. From my race a month ago. Another great experience! Whilst the leadup and race weren't what I had hoped for 12 weeks earlier, it is what it was and I got through fractured hip and all :-) so no complaints! 2024 World Triathlon Multisport Championships Townsville I can never git sick of wearing the "green and gold" always an honour!!!!

When is a Coxswain too heavy? This is a little bit topical, especially in masters rowing. Read my latest article where I put forward my view on the topic.
