We're going to the Nationals! Our Aviation Lane project has been nominated as a finalist at the Master Builders Australia National Excellence in Building and Construction Awards 2024 in the category: National Fit–out Award – $5 Million to $10 Million. This comes after the project won its category at the Master Builders ACT regional awards recently and we're super proud to see it exhibited now on the national stage. We loved working with @craftedhardwoodscom, to bring sustainable design to life in the recent Government fit out here in Canberra. Using responsibly sourced Tasmanian Oak, this project highlights the possibilities of blending care for people and the planet. The timber's unique qualities create a warm an inviting workspace, while also setting a new standard for sustainable commercial design. We are thrilled to announce a collaborative event between CK Architecture, DJAS and The Mill featuring a conversation with Yidinji elder, Uncle Bumi Hyde, and architect, Dr. Shaneen Fantin. I have loved writing since I can remember, often choosing writing as my creative outlet as a child. We need an interior designer in the office with approximately 1-4 years' experience, has a background in residential and commercial fit out documentation and strong product knowledge. Our Director of Architecture, Shannon Battisson (LFRAIA) has been selected to present at the American Institute of Architects' Conference on Architecture & Design in Washington DC later this year. We can't wait to share how it all goes!

We were pleased to present our recently completed commercial fit out project to the jury for the Australian Institute of Architects awards recently (wish us luck!). This project represents a long 10 year collaboration with our client and showcases what can be achieved when you develop such a great long term working relationship. This office consists of three floors, 6,600sqm of agile working environment complete with Aviation and Indigenous influences. The result is a dynamic and highly functional space designed exactly for this client now, and its future staff.
