The SILC Group Partners with Tokeny to Pilot Alternative Assets Through Tokenization.    The SILC Group (SILC), a leading alternative assets solutions provider, is pleased to be partnering with Tokeny, the leading institutional tokenization solution provider. Together, they aim to realize SILC's ambitious digitalization vision by upgrading alternative assets onto blockchain through tokenization.    The collaboration begins with a pilot project aimed at tokenizing a test fund using Tokeny’s unique tokenization infrastructure. The pilot project will assess the potential of blockchain to ultimately replace the various legacy centralized systems that are used to administer funds used by SILC to unite investors and capital seekers within the alternative assets industry.    CEO of The SILC Group, Koby Jones commented, “Blockchain technology offers a potential paradigm shift in the efficiency of capital markets, with The SILC Group seeking to pass these efficiency and service improvement gains along to our clients. We are excited to be working with Tokeny on this pilot as we explore ways to further support our clients and enhance risk management activities, as well as increase the velocity and scalability of the solutions we provide.”    Please read the full announcement here: https://lnkd.in/gU-tqr6v   #TheSILCGroup  #FinancialServices  #Tokenization  #AlternativeAssets  #PartnershipAnnouncement

Real World Asset (RWA) Tokenisation: Revolutionising The Alternative Investment Industry As the global economy continues to interlace with digital technologies, the fusion of real world assets (RWA) with blockchain-based tokens presents unique opportunities for investors and stakeholders alike. Given the advances in technology, market appetite and understanding, RWA tokenisation continues to be a topical subject in 2024 with a plethora of research and discussion papers promoting its benefits and suggesting that this is a critical use case for the broader adoption of blockchain technology. There are multifaceted benefits of tokenisation including enhanced liquidity, fractional ownership, increased market accessibility and reduced intermediation. The role of licensed and regulated bodies, like The SILC Group, that can bridge the link between tokenisation and their respective tangible real-world assets, will be critical to the growth of this emerging market. So just what is this exciting new technology, and how is it set to change the way we currently offer alternative assets to investors? This discussion paper delves into the distinctive advantages that arise from tokenising RWAs, with an emphasis on the impact for intermediaries within this domain, as well as potential barriers for adoption.
